Baseball season is upon us again in South Korea...
...South Korea won the gold medal in Baseball at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 ...
...but there will be no baseball in the London Olympics 2012.
Baseball is possibly the number one sport in Korea, and it is also extremely popular in Taiwan and Japan...
...but I am not very familiar with Baseball culture, as we play cricket in Australia.
One of the things that intrigues me about Korean baseball is the tireless enthusiasm of Korean baseball cheerleaders...;
Cheerleaders worldwide seem to be given the most disturbing stretch-fabric creations to perform in...
... but Korean baseball cheerleaders surely take it to the next level...;
There is almost always an exposed midriff...
...and some sports-briefs that fans can peek at...
... they often wear white gloves... I'm not sure why...
The dance moves are very seductive...;
The energized facial expressions and enthusiam are apparent;
Some of the uniforms include butt-padding... wish I were kidding;
Sometimes they take their shirts off (almost)...;
Whatever prop she is holding in this picture...
...it looks suspicious... ;
Sometimes the obscurity of the cheerleader uniforms keep us guessing... ;
Sometimes they throw in some complex-acrobatics...;
The cheerleaders get visibly annoyed when their team loses...;
While watching the game,
... the cheerleaders stand at uncomfortable-statue-angles...;
Of course,
...the cheerleaders are good at communicating directly with the crowd;
The poses are inspiring... ;
Astro Boy ;
Some of them have good mime skills;
Is it ironic that she has 'Twins' written across her chest?
