Do you ever find yourself sifting through a mountain of garbage in internet-land every day trying find what you are looking for, or at least, to find something half-interesting or useful? I do. I do it every day.
I am going to give you a short summary of what I have been looking at lately. I regularly abandon sites and blogs that I once thought were delightful, but all of a sudden they start to feel stale and not so relevant anymore (i.e. fashiontoast).
Without further ado... what I like RIGHT NOW:
* www.bbc.co.uk ; well now, things ARE happening outside of the Korean peninsular, who knew...right?
* www.thegloss.com ; Feminist American blog with really weird and interesting links. Don't you want to see albino animal pictures? I almost clicked on that.
************ thegloss has a very interesting columnist called Jennifer Dziura who writes a piece every Thursday called 'Bullish', which is an assertive look at women and finances, women and careers, and women starting their own businesses and so on.
* www.naver.com ; One of the premier Korean websites for breaking Korean news and crazy Korean web gossip and web forums.
* www.samishome.com ; Hong Kong girl I met in Seoul takes terrific pictures of sweet cupcakes and homewares. She is also a fashion writer who works between Asia and the US.
* www.oscarprgirl.tumblr.com ; It is really hard for me to get into tumblr because I don't connect that well with pictures, compared to pictures AND words. This Public Relations girl flies all over the world for Oscar de la Renta. I like her pictures. (This is the only tumblr I look at regularly)

* www.ssanshia.blogspot.com ; Presumably Korean girl who goes to UTS in Sydney who knows a lot about Korean art and textiles. She breaks up Korean history and expresses it through pictures and fabric designs.
* www.niciseoul.blogspot.com ; wow. Prettiest pictures of Seoul ever. I mean Ever. Although, it looks like she lives in London now.
* www.english.chosun.com ; This site is in English and Korean and it is an important news portal. The English site has some slightly radical material. For example; 'Korean women who marry younger men..' So naughty.
* www.galadarling.com ; I am not so enthused by all the pink (some is ok), and I am not hooked on lady-self-love-send-me-your-credit-card-number etc etc... but Gala is a girl from New Zealand (who immigrated to New York) who also posts a lot of relevant links. She reads a lot of stuff and her interviews are sometimes quite good.
* www.bryanboy.com ; Don't you hate me for saying it? Yes, bryanboy from the Philippines is very confident and very good at posing. I like that he travels a lot, and not just to Paris and Milan.
